Today, we woke up earlier than usual..ibu went down to cook her keow-teow and papa received call from a divorcee fren who story her prob, while mea still in her wonderful dreams hehe..
after having breakfast, papa ask ibu to go to a new place...to discover Penang's flea market at Lorong Kulit. This market known as "rope walk" by people here. Almost of my studen knew about this rope walk and even bus express driver from T'ganu..yoma did mention to me a long-long time ago. We arrived almost at 10.00 am after eating some "langsat fruit" to find the right way here. Walking at rope walk not like walking in a megamall or modern shopping complex la..coz no air-cond was provided. Sian ke mea kepanasan..plus disturbing her 2nd sleeping time. Actually, we want to survey 'barang' first here..more over studen papa duk promosi jer that everything we can find down here from discarded things to mundane household paraphernalia to genuine antiques and curios..so, mana tahu we can get good things in a cheap price!
By watching part of the items selling here, papa guest "lorong kulit" did have a reputation of being a thieves' market..in par with the reputation that was put on Petaling Street market during sunday morning..so no doubt that there should be some stolen goods was sold here, though they look no different from other used goods on sale. If you look carefully enough, you will wonder to know where the seller got his stuff! iyer laa...seller looks like a "self-inject doctor" jer..so, if you wanna buy anything, please use your skill of bargaining..ermm semua ada kat sini, some of the things you get there look too good to be discards, although they are all lumped together.
Papa went here to buy "golok" ekceli but in vain..there is, but the seller wanna sell it for RM50, golok pun dah "sumbing" huhu...leave it la! Nak beli golok ni bukan apa, easier for papa to peel buah nyiur belakang rumah ni..a few dah tua and luruh..if the buah okay, nanti nak beli mesin parut sekali hehe...buka kedai jual kelapa parut and santan ahaks! the other reason is for tebang pokok pisang..ada dekat 6 - 7 pohon..sepohon dah berbuah last two weeks and another will followed in a week after...yet, to ensure we are not going home with bare hand, we bought a durian "isi merah"..leh wat pengat this eve..okay jer papa! ibu pun mengidam tuh...
